Blogging 101 – Today’s assignment: write and publish a “who I am and why I’m here” post on your blog.
Relatively new to the blogging world, Rachel is still getting to grips with everything, including the direction her blog is going to go. I caught up with her tonight after dinner for a quick chat…
Where are you from?
I currently live in Nottingham, UK, but I’m Manchester born and bred and this is where I call home
What Do you Do?
I am a final year PhD student studying angiogenesis – for those non-sciencey people this is the growth and formation of new blood vessels from existing ones for example as a result of normal growth, due to exercise or in illnesses such as age-related macular degeneration and cancers.
Why are you blogging?
I decided to start blogging as I wanted to share my opinions, passions and experiences with you guys especially as I find that writing things down is often much easier than talking about them. And maybe I will gain some ideas for new adventures from you as well!
What topics do you think you’ll write about?
I want to write about everything, from stuff that I feel strongly about, to my many mini-adventures and most of all my photography as I continue my self-taught adventure with my little bridge camera.
Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
Everyone and anyone.
If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?
hmmmm, I guess that I would love to be connected with people with similar ideas and passions, had fun with my camera and obviously still be blogging.
